Celebrating the 4th

quick recap:

• i am almost 3
• i wear snorkel and breathing apparatus to swim underwater
• i have a new house in northfield 
• i know how to use words like competent

now that i have everyone caught up.....
mommy was fresh off of her coaching trip to maryland and daddy just left for connecticut to visit his college friends and it was the 4th of july.  aunt ellen invited us to breakfast before the parade and we jumped at the offer.  we headed to the northfield restaurant--note to anyone reading- avoid the northfield restaurant.

we hurried to our viewing spot. (cousin aiden makes a great partner in crime) 

living in northfield has, to this point, been pretty low key--the parade was no different.  1 firetruck and a whole bunch of kids on decorated bikes--that's it.  i waited anxiously for it to start, and before i knew it, the parade was over.   

after waiting, then watching, then following the parade to the community center, a nice cool snow cone did the trick to cool me off

off the kid's field!  first up, the slide.  we grabbed out sacks and headed to the top

then down we go!!!!!

next up was the underwater obstacle course--it only makes sense that it came in the form of a shark!

guess who's

potty trained!  with the exception of naptime and overnight when I am literally enclosed in my bed, i am all potty trained---#1 AND #2.  want proof?

before you know it...and before mom get's around to posting again, i will have a driver's license

killing time

i slept at coocoo's the other night.  whenever i sleep there i like to get up reeeeeaaaalllllly early and when i get up all i want to do is play play play.  with people still sleeping (coocoo had mr. bob from arizona visiting for the weekend) mom thought it was wise to hit up the wal-mart across the street to kill some time.  i gotta tell you, that place is quite fun at 6 in the morning.

3 birthdays

mom's friend described her kid's birthdays like Hanukkah.  i like the way that sounds.  i celebrated my birthday......3times!

             first in michigan where mom played up the hot dog side of mickey mouse                                   

Then when i went to visit papa john in florida we played up the fashionista minnie mouse

and then on my actual birthday at aunt ellen's house i enjoyed the playful side of mickey with mickey and pluto in an airplane (did aunt ellen know i am currently obsessed ith airplanes?)

a girl could get used to 3 birthdays

papa john

i went to florida to visit papa john.  it was crazy fun--correction it was fun after i threw up on the airplane ride there.

there was so much throw up that i had to finish the plane ride in just my diaper!  my hippo, my puppy, my blanket and my clothes got put in a garbage bag and quickly sealed closed--at least there was mickey on the dvd!

i went swimming-i have no fear so once i had those wings on i was off treading water in the deep end.

i spent evening walking my dog, cece, 

mommy says that if i am gong to have a dog, i better pick up her poop

i think we are headed back to florida on august-watch out papa john-by then i'll be ready to drive you to the gym!

the new christmas

ladies and gentlman, easter is the new christmas.  this girl got 5 easter baskets.  yes my friends, 5 easter baskets AND an egg hunt.  mickey mouse lunch box, minnie mouse cup with straw, minnie mouse coloring book, play dough, mickey mouse bubbles and CANDY are just some if my goods.  twizzlers are my new favorite.  This girl struck gold, solid gold (and i looked dang sweet doing it).  check me out
